Ways You Can Help at the Twin Cities MCC Relief Sale
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! One of the most interesting ways to experience the sale is to be a volunteer. We have positions available to match a variety of abilities and interests. Help is also needed the day before – Friday afternoon or early evening – to set up for the event. If you would like to volunteer, please send an e-mail to volunteertcmcc@gmail.com or call Karen at 612-250-2327.
DONATIONS NEEDED! The Artisan Market welcomes a variety of donated items to sell including newly quilted and sewn items as well as home crafted baby, vintage, jewelry, and other items.
The Quilter’s Corner is a perfect “green” option to recycle quilt-related items. Check your quilt storage and linen closet for unfinshed items, finished/unfinished tops, blocks, class projects, old or damaged quilts, quilt frames, supplies and tools, quilt books and magazines, quilt patterns either new or used, stencils, buttons, fabric such as cotton, flannel, wool denim (cut into squares), and crazy quilt materials. Please limit all material to quilt quality fabrics. It would be helpful if the material is measured and folded.
The Quilter’s Corner is also interested in new yarn, used knitting or crocheting tools, and patterns.
This is a great and easy way to share your skills or pass on your items for others to enjoy while giving to world relief in the process. To donate items or for more information, contact Mari at 414-774-6404.
Sponsorship Opportunities
Donating products, skills or services to the auction; complete the donor form(link coming soon) and contact the appropriate person as directed in the form.
Purchasing an ad in the auction booklet
The contribution of the sponsors enables the proceeds to benefit the world wide work of MCC. Your ad will be placed in an auction program at the bottom of each page, as well as be on our web-site. Each person attending the auction receives a free program. Also, during the auction, time will be given to draw people’s attention to the ads. Your ad will reach 800-1000 people on the day of the sale. For people purchasing the ½ page or Full-page ads, table tents will be made and set on the tables in the MCC Café.
